Bead work by Tlingit artist Harmony
Hoss putting her 2 dimensional designs to bead work
using the peyote stitch to create a variety of necklaces, chokers,
bracelets and small handbags. Each
piece is hand crafted by Harmony Hoss using the peyote stitch or
brick stitch using all of her own designs and patterns. There is no
loom work used in creating these unique creations.
You can buy these pieces from Harmony at
the Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle Mondays thru Wednesdays
from the daystall craftline. She is usually located towards the end
of the market. You can also find Harmony's bead work for sale online

Harmony is a self taught Tlingit artist
born and raised in Seattle, WA. She is an enrolled member
of the Tlingit tribe, she is of Raven moiety from the
Beaver clan. She's been working on her art since 1993
applying her designs on a variety of items ranging from note
cards, journal books, book marks, glass etchings, t-shirts, prints
and calendars. She's been selling her art at local art
fairs, arts and craft shows, pow-wows and local art
galleries. She is currently a vendor at the Pike Place
Market in downtown Seattle selling hand crafted journal books and
original artwork. She
has also just included some beaded artwork, hand crafted beaded
hand bags, beaded necklaces and
bracelets.
